Malbas BBK was one of 139 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Basketball Festival 2019. They participated with 28 teams in 15 out of Göteborg Basketball Festivals all 21 categories. The team in Girls-15 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Onsala Pirates BBK by 20-23.
In addition to this, Malbas BBK have participated in Göteborg Basketball Festival before. During Göteborg Basketball Festival 2018, Malbas had 25 teams playing in all categories except Open Wheelchair clas, Men 20+, Girls-19 and Women 20+. The team in Girls-17 made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Lobas by 21-34. Malbas comes from Malmö which lies approximately 240 km from Västra Frölunda, where Göteborg Basketball Festival takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Basketball Festival 2019 (Among others: SISU, IK Eos, Kb crew, Bjärred 305, Maskineriet, Gladsaxe Basketball Klub, Trelleborg Pirates, Flip Floppers, Lobas and BUCKETZ).
